What is SelfBadge?

SelfBadge is the easiest, fastest way to create customized name badges for your events. 

We're a web based platform that lets you design your name badges with variable data online using our easy to use editor.

Attendee Tracking : You can also use our mobile app to track the distribution of the badges, track lunches, kit distribution etc.

Printed Badges: Just upload the data, design your badge, enter your shipping details and we will send you crisp & beautiful name badges for your events.

Lanyards come attached?

You can choose to order lanyards alongwith your badges. We can send you plain lanyards with your badge order. If you need customized, printed lanyards, you can request the same while placing the order and our team will contact you.

How big are your badges?

We currently offer Printed badges. These are 4"x 6", that is 4 inches wide by 6 inches and 3.5"x 5", that is 3.5 inches wide by 5 inches. You can have a look at our products section to know more about various size and products.

How can I order sample kit?

What file formats do you support?

Our tool accepts most .csv, .xlsx and .xls files.

How should I name my Excel columns?

Our system is pretty smart at detecting people's names and company names.

You can have a column named Full name instead of having two separate ones for first name and last name.

Please know that you can add other information columns without a problem. On the badge editor you'll be able to select which fields you want displayed on your badges. Its always a good idea to have a unique ID for each record.

On-site vs blanks: last-minute?

For last-minute registrations - Pre-printed badges with the general design you created, but no names, so you can enter the details in the app and print the names onspot. To order these, click the little gear icons on the right of the editor page and type in how many blanks you want for each badge type.

How to use past designs, themes or templates?

When you create a new event, it will give you an option to select from pre-defined design templates or use and existing one which you have created earlier.

How do I change my password?

The best way is to sign out of your account. Go here and click the forgot your password button to create a new one.

How to delete a column from my spreadsheet?

It is not possible to delete columns from your file. You need to delete them in Excel before uploading the file to SelfBadge.

How to delete a badge?

It is not possible to delete attendees or badges.

For Printed badges: Delete their name from the spreadsheet and reupload the file by clicking on the reimport button on the upper part of the screen.
